About the Item
A finely cast & richly gilded 'Belle Epoque' Louis XV style gilt bronze fire fender together with its matching pair of robust gilt bronze chenets.
Both pierced & foliate cast chenets feature the ability to extend the length of the fender thereby enabling it to accommodate a variety of hearth widths. The reverse of the fender bearing stamped foundry marks PCCF.
Dimensions, 17” high x 7" deep x 40.5" wide (extending to 53” wide).
In very good overall condition, and priced competitively in comparison to similar examples in the marketplace.
