Robert Wood cast iron garden chairs, Philadelphia, mid-19th century. In two sizes. The front seat rail on the gentleman's chair is marked 'Robert Wood Maker Ridge Rd. Phila. In dark green paint. With Classic 19th century scrolled design details.The backs, sides, and crests with roses. The seats in a criss-cross network pattern. The tall curved legs with X stretchers. Measures: One chair height 32", width  arms 20 1/2", depth 20", seat H. 15" the other chair height 34 1/2", width arms 23", depth 22", seat H. 16 1/2" (Larger chair dimensions given below). Condition: While it isn’t evident, one of the chairs has a professionally replaced front leg, otherwise overall good with some spot losses and the pair presenting exceptionally well.
