A Wicker Pie / Hors- d'oeuvres Server in French Green Finish
About the Item
A lovely rare French green finished pie caddy / Hors-d'oeuvres server, American, attributed to Heywood Wakefield Company, Gardner Ma.C. 1910 This handled, three shelf server is done in a lovely unusual green shade with black and red decorated woven reed with the French green finish being shaded light to dark. Each shelf is woven with a wide darker green braid around each of the three shelfs which are lined in green fabric under glass supported by four splayed legs three of which run from floor to top forming the handle with the fourth leg out front for balance.This is a very pretty unique piece perfect for serving but also at home for displaying collections and curiosities.
