About the Item

A sensational and extremely decorative complete set of four Italian 18th century Louis XVI period patinated off white and giltwood cherub Torchières. Each is raised by impressive gilt pedestals decorated by large richly carved acanthus leaves, twisted ribbon bands and rosettes. Above are fluted columns with acanthus leaves above a mottled band. The column is decorated by an off white faux marble finish. Each cherub has a unique expression and pose holding up scrolled spiral fluted cornucopia. Exceptional quality. Can be electrified.
