About the Item

18th century planter from England made from satinwood and mahogany. The sides are banded and are decorated with barber pole inlay. There are decorative inlaid plaques on opposite sides which have applied hand cast brass handles, and the piece retains its original brass liner. Supported on hand cast brass feet.
