About the Item

Italian Istrian stone well head from the Veneto area, elaborately carved and beautifully weathered. Renaissance style, late 19th century. The two featured family crests have not been identified so far. The very decorative object can be used in the house or in the garden, not only as its intended purpose to surround a well. With a glass top it may become an interesting centre or dining table, indoors or outdoors or it can be used as a planter.
