About the Item

Cylindrical pair of planters from Earthgender, David Cressey and Robert Maxwell’s early 1970s project. These 17.75” diameter examples are incised in the “Teardrop Sunburst” design with interlocking gestural curves separating a pattern of lines radiating from a central point. Exposed stoneware along the scoring lines provides sharp contrast to the light speckled putty-colored glaze. Dimensions 17.75" diameter x 19.25" height. Condition Excellent vintage condition.
