A very old slate sundial with iron gnomon on gilt wood stand. Appears the date is 1654 (but this could be older as the date is hard to make out clearly). Has some old minor damage around the edges that is expected with a piece of this age. Acquired from a fine estate in Carmel California. Europe 17th Century.
