About the Item

An early 19th century French garden sundial with heavy cast iron column base and carved marble dial plate with bronze gnomon. Nicely detailed baluster column form with dark patina and some spots of rust. Weathered marble with faint relief of radiating lines and carved letters and Roman numerals around the perimeter. White glove delivery only. Circa 1830-1950. The bronze part is a little bent with a small break but not loose. 55"H x 16.75" Diameter Base: 12" x 12"
