About the Item

An English carved York limestone sundial of baluster shape, fitted with its original slate sundial plate and bronze gnomon. Various fine inscriptions are etched into the slate plate, but it is difficult to decipher. This is weathered with beautiful ageing that only exposure to the elements through time can create, making it a wonderful new centrepiece for any garden.
