About the Item

A very attractive and high quality pair of Italian mid 19th century Neo-Classical st. Rain Forest marble and Ormolu urns. Each urn is raised by a richly chased circular Ormolu support with a mottled border decorated by a band of intertwined rosettes. Above is a tapering fluted socle pedestal leading to the baluster shaped urn. The urn is flanked by two Greek key handles with a raised edge.
