Chinese Export Porcelain Turquoise Openwork Fruit Baskets & Stands,
Circa 1785
The Chinese Export porcelain openwork fruit baskets and stands are painted with an allover turquoise enamel on the exterior and the interior of the basket and the stand is left white. The upright shell handles are in orange.
Dimensions: Baskets & Stand: 5 3/4 inches high x 10 1/4 inches wide x 9 inches deep, Stand: 10 1/4 inches x 9 inches; Basket: 5 inches high x 10 1/4 inches wide x 8 1/4 inches deep
Condition: one stand with frit to the edge and the other interior of the stand with firing marks (see photo)
