Crichton Bros Sterling Silver Basket
About the Item
This is a magnificent 1916 English sterling silver basket made by Lionel Alfred Crichton Brothers in London. It weights 29.50 Oz. Fully signed and hallmarked. It has a wonderful detail, design and workmanship. Georgian-style ovular sterling silver serving dish with pierced decoration throughout. Applied cast edge with punched, pierced and applied floriate and scroll motif, with ribbing on the interior walls. The weight is 917 grams. Dimensions:13" x 10" x 3.5"
