English Creamware Openwork Fruit Baskets and Covers

About the Item

English Creamware Openwork Fruit Baskets and Covers, Leeds Pottery, 1930s The oval openwork plain creamware baskets and have a series of reeded openings to the central portion of the basket, below is a molded leaf within a lower column support. The two handles, one to each side are in the form of a rolled leaf. The covers similarly designed with shorter openings to the outer edge and each surmounted with an eagle. Dimensions: 6 3/4 inches high x 10 inches wide x 6 1/4 inches deep. Mark: Impressed LEEDS POTTERY. (Ref: NY10429-kcnx)
