About the Item

A fine near pair of Georgian mahogany plate buckets having heavy gauge brass bail handles and bands, the cylindrical bodies with pierced fluting, each with slots for loading and unloading stacks of plates, now with green liners for use as wastepaper baskets or kindling buckets. Pleasing color and patina.
