Spanish Handwoven Basket with Lid, Trapezoidal Shaped Body and Natural Fibers

About the Item

A Spanish handwoven basket with lid from the mid-20th century. This vintage basket from Spain has a trapezoid-shaped body and is handwoven and braided natural fibers with stick supports set vertically at each corner and along it's backside. There are a pair of handles flanking each shorter end, and an attached lid in the same materials lays at it's top. This large basket would make a wonderful decorative object, while being a functional piece. Should you like more than one of these baskets, we currently have several similar Spanish baskets available, each priced and sold separately.
