XX Century Italian Steling Silver Basket with handles
About the Item
Sterling silver basket in oblong shape.
The basket was made entirely by hand starting from a sheet of 925 sterling silver and then embossed and chiseled with a design depicting a wicker basket.
On the lower and upper parts, 2 round intertwined silver wires were soldered.
The handles were also obtained with a double intertwined wire.
The external finish is polished and burnished, while the internal part has been gilded with 24kt gold.
Made in Alessandria - Italy by the artisan silversmith workshop "Silver Art", later absorbed by ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA
