19th Century Napoleon III Decorative Bowl in Crystal and Gilded Bronze
About the Item
We present you with this exquisite decorative bowl made of cut crystal with a gilded bronze base from the Napoleon III period in the 19th century. The base depicts a man in classical ancient Greek attire holding the crystal coupe of the bowl at arm's length.
The base of the stand, namely the plate, is supported by three claw feet and adorned with leaf motifs. The craftsmanship of the chiselling and gilding is of exceptional quality, utilising both matte and glossy finishes to highlight each part of the stand.
This bowl is ideal for displaying fruits or flowers on a beautiful table setting. Moreover, it is detachable, thus making it practical for transporting and cleaning.
