19th Century Cassolettes in Marble and Gilt Bronze from the Napoleon III Period

About the Item

We present you this wonderful pair of cassolettes, urns in English, in gray-green ash-colored marble veined with white. They feature a highly decorative gilded bronze mount adorned with ram's heads, garlands, claw feet, laurel leaf handles, and seed-shaped finials. The gilding and chiseling of the little details displayed on these pieces exhibit extremely high-quality craftsmanship. With an impressive size, measuring 56 cm in height and 17 cm in diameter, these cassolettes serve as an ideal complement to elevate the decor of a dresser, a fireplace or alternatively to flank a clock or a sculpture.
