19th Century Large Gilded Bronze Clock of the Napoleon III Period

About the Item

We present you this large and exceptional clock in gilt bronze, measuring 61 cm in height and 31 cm in width. It is adorned with gilded bronze female busts on either side of the clock's face, reflecting the opulent style of the Napoleon III era. The front of the clock showcases a Parisian movement with porcelain cartouches, professionally inspected by our clockmaker. A motif of the sun is seen beneath the dial, while intricate acanthus leaf decorations enhance the remaining parts of the clock, extending all the way to its four feet.
