20K Silver Leaf with Crystals Embossed Leaves Metal Bowl
About the Item
20K:bowl embossed leaves with crystals.
This bowl is an artisanal special piece. A primmer is applied to smooth out the surface then it is sanded, this process is repeated 2-3 times. Once that work is completed it's ready for the next Artisan who is a French gilder with 25 years of experience of doing outdoor sculptures to interior restorations for the most important buildings in NYC and along the East Coast. The leaf is 20K Italian from Manetti of Florence it is made of 80%Gold 4%Silver 12%Palladium4%Platinum, all noble metals.
After the bowl is leafed, it then transported covered in a wool/cotton batting for protection. At this step a top coat of gloss varnish is applied 2-3 times as needed.
The interior work consists of embossed leaves which have been leafed placed in an aesthetically pleasing manner then trimmed with crystals! Then the crystal edge work is done.This bowl is exactly as I envisioned it to be which is so satisfying. I think you will love this.
