Antique Art Nouveau Copper Lidded Pot Large Bowl Container Jugendstil
About the Item
Elegant antique hand made and hand hammered Art Nouveau piece, this lidded copper pot has both style and function. Created in the early 1900's when the Arts & Crafts movement was at its peak and flourishing. We believe the interior is tin lined but we are not sure of the exact material. There are signs of wear all around, has signs of use and wear and is marked with oxidation. It has been well used throughout the years and has been left unpolished to keep its original aged look. It is quite a substantial piece, but is not heavy. Measures 11.5 inches in total height (including the lid) by 13.5 inches in diameter, a total width of 14 inches with the handles.
