Antique Ko Akae Tea Bowl Cup Chinese Porcelain Chenghua Marked, 17th century
About the Item
This nice tea bowl/cup (might also be incense burner) from the early 17th century. With a Wucai/Verte scene of a wise man in a garden. The base with an overglaze red Chenghua mark. The fun part is that the red circled green parts on the body are 'lower' then the white glaze. It is either moulded this way or meant to hide 'firing flaws' to the glaze. Never seen this before.
