A Swedish art deco pewter bowl with lid, produced by Guldsmedsaktiebolaget GAB in the 1930’s. The lid is elegantly adorned with a decorative deer. Guldsmedsaktiebolaget, or GAB, was established back in 1868 and gained recognition, particularly for their ornate housewares crafted from silver, pewter, nickel silver, and steel in their workshop. The renowned designer Jacob Ängman served as the company's artistic director for several decades until his passing in 1942.
