Swedish art deco table lamp attributed to Sven-Erik Skawonius, Kosta, 1930s

About the Item

A graceful Swedish art deco table lamp, attributed to the artist Sven-Erik Skawonius, for the glassworks Kosta. No signature. The foot is made from blasted glass with two deer in strong relief. One lamp bulb at the top and one inside the foot. Original lampshade covered in pleated textile.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. There’s some minor dents in the glass and the shade has a few spots. The top of the glass foot is somewhat worn, but this is hidden underneath the metal fitting.
