C. Perron Antique Cast Bronze Tazza with Judaic Motif

$2,250

About

Signed C. Perron cast bronze tazza depicting the Judaic allegorical story of Eliezer finding a wife for Abraham's son Isaac and with the assistance of Rebecca, determines she is the best choice for him. The tazza is clearly signed "C. Perron" in the lower right portion of the bowl, and although there is no date stamp, was likely done during the middle of his career in approximately the year 1900. The outer band of the tazza is done in Hebrew script in high relief.
