Chinese Han Dynasty Green Glaze Pottery Bowl / Ancient Excavated Pottery

About the Item

A country that existed more than 2000 years ago during the Han dynasty in China. What is called green glaze pottery has been made here. It is a pottery baked at a low temperature of about 800 degrees. When the lead glaze is baked at 800 degrees, it turns green. This was not used as tableware for daily life, but as a burial item. Such pottery was made only for those in power and high status. Why was it made? It was buried with a lot of pottery in the tomb with the hope that it would lead to a rich life in the world after death. And because it was buried in the soil for 2000, the glaze that was originally encountered in green changed chemically to silver. It is silvered, but the green glaze remains and it is beautiful. There are many jar-like shapes, but bowls like this are rare. As it is a soft pottery, do not pour water directly. Water leaks. The photo is taken with a black and white background. The impression is different, but I guarantee that it is a very good product. Also, as a reference material, we will post the green glaze pottery of the Han dynasty that is listed in the picture book. There are various shapes. This item is one of them. Simple and cool. it's recommended. A special storage wooden box is also included.
