About the Item

A German enameled tripod vase retailed by Erich Kellerman. This is a fantastic three-legged round vase, created in the city of Pforzheim Germany, back in the 1900's. The piece shows the import-sponsor marks Erich Kellerman for the city of London in 1909. This beautiful piece has been masterfully crafted with neoclassic Edwardian patterns in solid .925/.999 sterling silver and embellished at the Louis Kuppenheim workshops with a fabulous engine turned guilloche, which is topped with a delicate purple glass enamel and accented with a frame of white enamel. It is surmounted in three scrolled legs. Country: Pforzheim Germany. Importer: London, Erich Kellerman. Period: Edwardian 1909 Weight: 122.30 Grams, (78.40 Dwt). Measurements: 114 mm by 114 mm by 66 mm (4.5 x 4.5 x 2.60 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with German Empire marks, the British import mark for the city of London, the letter O for the date of 1909, the mark 925 for the assay and warranty of the .925/.999 silver, the sponsor mark EK associated to Erich Kellerman, the model number 89 and signed as follows; "EK .925 O 89". Condition: The overall condition of this Edwardian tripod vase is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the sterling. All parts are secured in the settings. A four-legged dish designed by Tiffany & Co. This is a beautiful antique Edwardian four-legged open dish for nuts, created in 1901 at Tiffany & Co. in New York city. It was carefully crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 under the directory period of Charles T. Cook (1902-1907). This lovely elongated nuts dish is the model 15602 designed with plain patterns and decorated with a floriated border. It rests in four legs.
