Thai Celadon Plate, 15th Century

About the Item

A rare celadon plate from the kilns of Sangkhalok, one of the main centers of Thai ceramics during the Sukhotai period (1230-1438) Well preserved for its age, this plate shows the ancient technique of Celadon glaze, with its traditional olive green color and the crackled finish throughout the glaze. Circa 14-15th Century.
