A beautifully glazed Chinese Ming dynasty Longquan celadon deep dish with an impressed peony design to the center, circa 1400. The dish covered in a lovely deep celadon green, bordering olive
The interior wall with carved vertical lines, creating a sunburst effect. The back simply glazed, with an unglazed, burnt firing ring to the interior of the foot. The foot ground down, exposing the porcelaneous body.
Provenance: Bonham's, San Francisco.
