English blown and cut glass match striker, c. 1880-1900

About the Item

Globe form cut glass match strike. The lower half of the globe is slice cut in a beehive hexagonal pattern. Above the cut glass is a band of strawberry point for striking matches, and the top features an open well for storing matches. England, late 1800's.
