Tyra Carolina Lundgren (1897–1979) è stata un'artista svedese estremamente versatile e influente. Era nota per le sue opere come:
Pittrice: ha esplorato vari stili, tra cui il Cubismo e il Nuovo Oggettivo, con uccelli, pesci e persone come soggetti ricorrenti.
Ceramista: ha lavorato per importanti aziende di porcellana come St Eriks Lervarufabrik, Arabia e Rörstrand, e per un certo periodo è stata persino la direttrice artistica di Arabia. Le sue opere in ceramica presentano spesso forme espressive e smalti raffinati, con motivi naturalistici.
Designer di vetri: ha disegnato oggetti in vetro per Moser, Riihimäki e Kosta. In particolare, è stata una delle prime donne a disegnare vetri per la prestigiosa azienda italiana Paolo Venini, creando pezzi iconici come la serie "Vingar" (Ali).
Inoltre, ha collaborato a riviste d'arte e ha autopubblicato diversi libri. L'opera di Lundgren è celebrata per il suo forte legame con la natura, che spesso incorpora forme organiche e motivi di uccelli e pesci. Combinava funzionalità ed espressione poetica, rendendo i suoi progetti senza tempo. Nel 1950 ricevette la medaglia reale svedese Litteris et Artibus per il suo contributo artistico.

I colori utilizzati da Venini sono intensi e vibranti, ottenuti attraverso l'utilizzo di pigmenti pregiati e di tecniche di colorazione sofisticate.
Le forme delle opere sono spesso astratte e innovative, frutto di una ricerca continua verso nuove espressioni artistiche.
Venini ha sperimentato e perfezionato numerose tecniche di lavorazione del vetro, tra cui la soffiatura, la murrina, la filigrana e la lattimo.
Oltre al vetro, la produzione utilizza anche altri materiali, come l'oro, l'argento e il cristallo, per creare opere di grande pregio.
Tra le opere più iconiche realizzate da Venini ricordiamo: vaso Veronese (disegnato da Paolo Venini nel 1921), Crinoline (disegnato da Gio Ponti nel 1932), Fazzoletto (disegnato da Paolo Venini nel 1933), Poliedri (disegnati da Carlo Scarpa negli anni '50).
Oggi, Venini continua a essere un punto di riferimento nel mondo del vetro artistico. La vetreria produce ancora opere uniche e raffinate, realizzate a mano dai maestri vetrai di Murano, secondo le antiche tradizioni.
