About the Item
Large ceramic bowl with floral motif made at the pottery work-shop H. A. Kähler in Næstved, Denmark in the period arround 1930
It's decorated by Jens Thirslund (1892-1942) in a special technic.
The glaze is applied in horizontal and vertical directions in wet in wet glaze. You had to have a sure and quick hand for it to succeed.
Jens Thirslund was a true master of this technique.
The satin glaze is kept in blue, green and brown colors and forms a floral design.
Marked: HAK + Danmark
Very good used condition without repairs or other damage.
