About the Item
Decorative handmade ceramic bowl by Søholm which was a Danish company that manufactured ceramics from 1835 until the workshop was closed in 1996.
Søholm was located in the little Danish island called Bornholm which has a very long tradition for ceramic workshops and is highly recognized for there high quality ceramics.
Søholm Keramik was a ceramics factory that was founded in Rønne on the small island of Bornholm in 1835 by Edvard Christian Sonne and Herman Sonne Wolffsen. Keramisk Forbund became the sole owner of Søholm in 1939. On 30 April 1987, the association was merged with SiD, and the trade union took over the operation of the factory. SiD chose in 1996 to close Søholm Keramik.
The bowl is the perfect detail for any style of interior for a traditional Scandinavian style of interior to a more modern style of interior.
