Berndt Friberg Ceramic Bowl Selecta Series Number 1

About the Item

Berndt Friberg ceramic bowl in a beautiful blue glaze, the bowl is designed by Berndt Friberg and made at Gustavsberg in the 1950s. Berndt Friberg designed the Selecta series in the 1960s for Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory. The series consists of nine vases, six bowls and a candleholder. The objects are made of stoneware with classical shapes. The glazes comes in six colors: Blue, brown, grey, yellow, green, or turquoise. Selecta was the only series Berndt Friberg designed for Gustavsberg. This bowl has model number 1 and has the beautiful blue glaze with dark grayish tones which gives a beautiful charm to the bowl. This bowl is the perfect decorative piece for any interior and fits any style from the traditional Scandinavian style of interior to a more modern style of interior.
