Louis Lourioux Porcelain Shell Bird Motif Le Faune Trinket Dish, France

About the Item

A petite porcelain trinket dish or catchall by Louis Lourioux. Crafted from fine porcelain, this small dish is created in the shape of a clamshell or seashell. It is crisp white and features a bluebird painted at its center. The bird is covered in blue feathers and has a purple/red breast with black wings. It sits upon brown tree branches with small green leaves. The edges as well as the interior of the piece are scalloped. The edges are painted with a gold rim. Below the bird, on the edge, is a pretty gold-painted bow. Marked at the bottom in gold: Fireproof Porcelaine Le Faune Made in France Dimensions: 4.5" Wide 5.5" Deep 1.5" Tall.
