Mid-Century Brass Etagere Centrepiece
About the Item
Stunning brass etagere made in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture.
The fruit stand is made entirely of original brass, with typical brass punches.
The centrepiece has a round, bell-shaped base, which is wider at the base and narrows slightly as it rises to the top. The latter has a hollowed-out hemispherical shape suitable for holding fruit or decorative objects. The rim is wider and thicker, in relief, creating an even more elegant effect. The top is crossed centrally by a narrow cylindrical element, which runs through the whole object, to create different heights.
The upper top is much smaller than the one below, also with a thicker edge, with the same punching as the brass.
The top is made by the closure of the cylindrical element, which has a small brass ball, suitable for easily carrying the centrepiece.
The centrepiece is suitable for decorating important tables, but also as a decorative centrepiece.
