About the Item

This sophisticated and sculptural sterling silver bowl was hand-wrought by Allan Adler in the 1950s, one of America's most esteemed silversmiths of the era. It offers an organically shaped circular form with an elegantly curved lip and smooth sinuous curves throughout. This piece is exceedingly rare and a superlative example of midcentury American silver. It is signed "Allan Adler Sterling" on the bottom and is in excellent condition. American, circa 1950 Dimensions: 9.25" D X 12" W X 3.25" H
