Suku Park - Porcelain Bowl
About the Item
Product description:
This bowl, designed by Korean artist Suku Park, is made with very fine, thin porcelain. The porceiain is thin enough such that when you shine light on it some of it will pass through the material. The raised edges of the bowl are perforated (by design) giving the otherwise clean item a little organic touch. I would like to recommend to display the item on its own in a room with minimalist design.
The designer Suku Park was born in 1947 in Seoul, Korea and moved to Sweden in 1974 where he graduated from the Swedish State School of Arts & Design. Suku Park worked from Finland from the early 1980's onwards. Suku Park's contemporary pieces are exhibited in musea all over the world from Czech Republic to Canada.
