About the Item

An 18th century baptismal plate in brass with beveled flower decoration to celebrate the birth of the infant or perhaps as in French is called "Plat a offrandes", which means "Plate for the offers". Gift that could be in form of coins or bread etc... This antique European gilted dish can be wall-mounted since it has a later hanging part on the back, to decorate a nice place on a wall.
