French Pair of Ormolu Bronze Twin Handled and Marble Mounted Lidded Tazzas

About
A fine and stylish pair antique French ormolu bronze lidded tazzas dating from the latter 19th century. The tazzas stand mounted on rounded polished grey marble bases with a rounded base with simple incised designs, a narrow stem and a wide rounded tazza top applied to either side with long decorative handles with incised cross patterns around the body and with a fitted dome cover relief moulded with fruiting stems and with a bird finial. The tazzas are not marked.
In good condition with wear commensurate with age with a small surface crack to one of the handles which does not extend through.
