Art Deco earthenware decorative centerpiece bowl handmade by artist Harald Folmer Gross (1888-1961) for Knabstrup Ceramics in the early 1940s - HFG worked for Knabstrup from 1941 to 1945.
Complex chevron relief pattern creating a star shape around the center depicting a small boat and its passengers on a windy sea. Warm brown, dusty ochre and sea green colors. Signed, stamped and numbered under base. Beautiful vintage condition.
