Extraordinary contemporary Japanese museum-quality decorative porcelain charger/centerpiece in a stunning soft octagonal shape, stunningly hand-painted in black and white on the artist's signature purple. It is the signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed award-winning master porcelain artist from Kutani region of Japan with 360 years history of producing very fine porcelain pieces. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his unique work, including Nitten. He is admired for his interpretations of nature and flowers. The artist's profile is available upon request. This breathtaking piece features stunning dramatic magnolias, the artist's signature pattern, in pure white set against the artist's extraordinary signature purple background. It took the artist more than three years to create the exact purple he had in mind and this piece is a great example of it. Foliage in black is a beautiful contrast creating a mesmerizing scenery on porcelain. The reverse side of this charger is decorated with a wide band in his beloved purple showcasing intricate foliage in black and deep blue, with his signature in the very center of the charger. This outstanding large porcelain charger/centerpiece comes in a custom-made wooden case signed by the artist. Dimensions: D 19 in, H 3.5 in.
