Late 19th Century French Copper Repousse Tart Pan with Knight and Shields

About the Item

Originally used in the kitchen of a French chateau, this late nineteenth century copper repousse tart pan features a crowned frogmouth helmet above two quartered shields. The helmet and shields are surrounded by scrolling leaves. The pan is fitted with two copper riveted iron handles, circa 1880.
