About the Item

A small studio pottery dish by significant 20th Century ceramicist Otto Heino. This example features the finger ribbing with a blue and red glaze, blending to a purplish haze in some areas. The dish also showcases a few bold red splatters at the plates center. The outside of the dish has a black 'raku-like' metallic glazing. Signed on the underside, “Otto ‘99.” Dimensions 7.25" diameter x 1.5" height. Condition Good vintage condition.
