About the Item

Lovely little dish from the second half of the 17th century. It is painted in overglaze enamels in the style of a Chinese Kraak dish. Visible is a typical Kraak scene with a bird on a rock and flowers and objects in the border/wall. Early Kakiemon. Additional information: Material: Porcelain & Pottery Japanese Style: Arita, Kakiemon Region of Origin: Japan Period: 17th century Edo Period (1603–1867) Age: Pre-1800 Condition: 3 kintsugi filled chips with 2 lines running from them.
