Seguso Murano Red Orange Opal White Optic Swirl Italian Art Glass Dish Bowl
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red orange and opal white Italian art glass decorative vide-poche bowl. Created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company and designer Archimede Seguso. A similar bowl is photographed in the Seguso Vetri d'Arte book as you can see (see book photo) and dated to 1948-1949. There is an original red and gold "Made In Murano Italy" label underneath. The bowl has a squared shape, rounded at the bottom and the corners, with 4 folds along the rim. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or jewelry dish. Mid-century era. Measures: 4 3/4" along each side x 2 1/4" tall.
