English Pressed Glass & Carved Oak Greek Key Motif Biscuit Barrel or Humidor

About the Item

English, circa 1867. An unusual antique biscuit barrel or humidor. The main body is formed of pressed glass with a greek key border, paneled window and a reeded edge. The glass rests inside a lotus form carved oak base and fitted with a matching oak lid. Marked to interior of barrel with registry mark.
