18th Century Diminutive Carved Mahogany Chest

About

Carved panels on front - two arches with foliate frames and a shaped and scrolled one with rosettes in the center. The tin escutcheon lacks a key, and the lock lacks the bolt. There is a small side box in the interior. Mortise and tenon construction, raised on bracket feet. Condition: Worn but time softened top and sides with some chips to the edges, the box presenting very well. Measures 24.25” wide by 13.5” deep by 14.5” high.
