19th century French Napoleon III Singing Bird Brass Cage, 1870s

About the Item

Beautiful Helvetic French Napoleon III period animated Singing Bird Brass wire cage dome with a repousse filigree decorated brass base has two birds in the cage which alternate singing while they move their heads. There is an opening door. In good condition and running on a tag on the bottom Helvetic I&M Corp Paris, New York. Stamped Made in France. The used key is not the original one but it works. The birds are real bird. The cage has a brass hook on the top. Beautiful quality. For lovers of unique pieces of collection.
